As a lifelong believer in a better future that balances the needs of people and planet, Andrew puts his belief into action by applying his breadth across communications, business, and technology and depth in program delivery to drive conservation outcomes.

 Highlights include:

  • Administered a global campaign for National Geographic to convince world leaders of the urgency to protect 30% of planet’s land and water by 2030.

  • Launched Blue Media Lab at the Nature Conservancy to mainstream freshwater conservation through powerful stories including H2O: The Molecule that Made Us and Age of Nature

  • Led United Way through an earned-income accelerator that merged United Way’s social impact and reach with the Sustainable Development Goals and created a consultancy service for Fortune 500 companies.

  • Collaborated with Tanzania National Parks Authority to minimize ivory poaching by maximizing existing investments in GIS.

Andrew’s belief in a better future is a guiding principle in his life and drove his decision to earn an undergraduate degree in environmental sciences, serve with the Peace Corps in Tanzania as a Community Based Natural Resources Management volunteer, and earn an MBA in sustainability from George Washington University.

Over his career he’s built a large network of peers and friends across major conservation and international development organizations and best-in-class consulting, marketing, technology, and communications firms. He’s passionate about the emerging discipline of biomimicry as a critical way of designing our world so we can live smarter on the planet
