“Hello, fellow traveler!
My name is Shantik Azima-Taylor and only one percent of the world can
pronounce that correctly on the first try so don't feel left out! :)
I am currently a Political Science undergraduate at West Valley
College in Saratoga California, looking to get my Juris Doctorate in
Business Law, which means I want to be a lawyer! I also have a deep
rooted love for entrepreneurship, and even helped co-create and run my
college campus' Entrepreneurship Center as President for 2 years.
I believe that environmental awareness and social justice go hand in
hand with a better future for our planet. Working under a multitude of
nonprofit organizations over the past 5 years, I have gained a vast
wealth of experience in fundraising, project management, and community
outreach.
Here at WIA, I've been able to put these skills to the test, and have
learned much more along the way! Water is the most important resource
Earth has, and if we lose it, we lose the value of our planet. Water
is life, plain and simple, and as a mixed martial artist for 7+ years
I have relied on water for recovery, strength, and growth.
WIA and I are dedicated to making sure we all respect the value of
water, and that we are able to treat it with the same respect it gives
to us.
