“In my daily life, I first focus on water conservation, trying to make sure that my own water usage practices are minimized. I also try to practice water recycling by using rain water for houseplants in my apartment! However as far as water equity, particularly global water equity, I still have much to learn. I am extremely interested in one day working as a biologist for the national park service, and as part of that goal I want to better inform myself about the role that water distribution and availability plays for both the wildlife that occupy these spaces but also for the cultures that inhabit these lands. I must admit I am naive about water equity but I am very eager to learn and better become an advocate for water equity in my professional and daily life.”
